Brendon Flynn, Camp Directo

Mr. Flynn directs the Freshman Drama program at Cypress Bay High School and has run BAC, as it has grown from 30 to 400 campers, for 10 years now. He previously directed both the Drama Department at Indian Ridge Middle School and Sunapee Arts Camp, a sleep away camp in New Hampshire. His students have won the highest recognitions at District and State Theater Festivals and attend the various arts and sciences programs in the Florida University and Ivy League system. A hack guitar player, published writer, S.A.T. instructor, and father of returning campers Hannah and Emma, he and his family also have two dogs: Bella and Lebowski.

Cathryn Olson-Flynn, “Junior Arts” Director.

Mrs. Olson-Flynn is former Kindergarten Team Leader at Eagle Point Elementary who now teaches Life Management Skills with the Florida Virtual School and will be overseeing our Junior camp this summer. Look for her and Brendon’s daughters, Hannah and Emma, to be tagging along, as usual.

Jennifer Pulitano, “Junior Arts” Director.

Mrs. Pulitano is a National Board Certified 5th Grade teacher teacher at the Florida Virtual School and is a lifelong friend of the Flynns. She returns this summer from to help Mrs.Olson-Flynn direct the Junior Arts program. Her son, Dylan, whose hair can be seen in the bottom of Mrs. Pulitano’s picture to the left, will be there again with his best friend, Hannah Flynn.

Brandon Cruz, Rock Band Director.

Mr. Cruz teaches drums at Flanagan High School and works as a professional drummer in various rock outfits in Broward and Dade counties. He returns for a third summer of directing our rock and jazz bands with his professional chops and cool, cool demeanor.
