Our Theater program is directed by the Murray brothers. Kevin graduated last spring with his BA in Theater from FSU and Brennan is already working closely with the FSU theater program and, as a sophomore, featured prominently in some of their mainstage shows. Brennan, know for his innate ability to fall on stage, is a former standout at Florida state thespian high school festivals where he secured myriad critic’s choice awards. Kevin is presently in London working post graduation. Each have been campers and counselors since we began BAC in 1999. They feature classes in improvisation, mime, and acting and direct the afternoon one-act classes. |

Campers can find a wide variety of arts activities during the day. Our director, Meghan Hood, is a junior at UCF and does tie-dye, illustration, animation, drawing, clay, and various summer camp crafts. She has been with us since 2000 and also assists the musical theater and theater departments with her students to design sets and costumes. |

A camper-favorite program, our film program is directed by Robbie Weukner, a freshman at the University of Central Florida. This will be Robbie’s third summer directing the program. With his guidance, campers write, film, star in, direct, and edit a series of short films over the course of the summer. |

At Broward Arts Camp, campers choose their own morning program daily from an offering of 8-10 classes. These classes change daily and range from outdoor games to crafts to dance lessons to drama games. In the afternoon, campers pick session-long “majors” from the programs below and work on longer group projects for our end of session shows. |
